Dr. C.K. Lo is a renowned and respected public affairs and communications expert in Hong Kong.

C.K. set up C.K. Lo & S. Lam Ltd. (Lo & Lam), a public affairs and lobbying specialist, with Sam Lam in January 1994. PR for Good was set up in 2013 as a subsidiary of Lo & Lam to provide dedicated service to NGOs, social enterprises, and community projects of corporations.

In the past two decades, CK has collaborated with Partners to set up a number of reputable consultancies: Strategic Public Relations Group, the largest PR consultancy in Hong Kong with offices in Mainland China, Taiwan and South-East Asia; A-World Consulting, an integrated communications and management consultancy; AWTC (Lo & Lam) Consultancies, providing training, public affairs and public relations services.

C.K. is active in public and community service. He is now member of the Council of Oxfam Hong Kong and the Board of Supervisors of Oxfam International, the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and the Board of Hong Kong Policy Research Institute. His previous public service commitments include: Commission on Strategic Development, Consumer Council, Central Policy Unit, Council of The Open University of Hong Kong, Advisory Committee on Food and Environmental Hygiene and Risk Communication Advisory Group of the Department of Health, Chair of Oxfam Hong Kong Council, and member of the Board of Fair Trade Hong Kong Foundation.

C.K. obtained his Ph.D. at London School of Economics and Political Sciences and B.Soc.Sc. at the University of Hong Kong. He has published and edited a number of books on communications, crisis management and politics of China & Hong Kong.

C.K. was appointed Justice of the Peace in 2005, was awarded the Honorary University Fellowship of The Open University of Hong Kong in 2004, and received The Outstanding Young Person Award in 1990.
